Advanced Micro-Short Detection
When a laptop suddenly turns off, won't charge, or gets extremely hot near the power jack, it usually indicates a power-rail short circuit on the motherboard (19V line or 3.3V/5V standby line).
Our lab uses high-sensitivity infrared thermal imaging cameras. When power is injected into the shorted rail, the thermal camera immediately highlights the shorted capacitor or MOSFET in bright yellow/red, enabling pinpoint replacement without damaging surrounding components.
